Just had to take a moment to say a BIG HUGE HAPPY SWEET 16TH BIRTHDAY to my wonderful niece, Karissa.
I found out tonight that she and her mom look at my blog so, I promised to say hello.
Please keep Karissa in your prayers as she enters a new phase in her life... DRIVING!! Of course more prayers are probably needed for the drivers on the road with her! Just kidding...well, maybe not.
My dear brother, Kirk and sister in law, Donna will also need prayers. Their baby girl is not such a baby anymore, though I know they will always look at Karissa as their sweet little girl.

Happy Birthday Karissa!
You are so lucky you are going to be able to get your permit. My parents aren't ready for me to get mine. Because, you know, it doesn't matter if you are ready, you have to wait until they are ready.
